Zara’s new collection

The new collection of spring/summer of Zara has been revealed. It will be also in Zara’s collection pastel colors, printings, jewelry and so on. Let see what my favorite shop has created for the next season. We can find the large sweater color pastel and a simple light dress. Perfect for the spring. In the colors pastel we can try the long jacket or the short one. We dare to wear something different and to put a touch of softness in our outfit.

The famous sweater with a message will be still trendy for the next season and we decline the message also on a t-shirt. It is just a small look of the collection.

Zooey Deschanel & Tommy Hilfiger

Zooey Deschanel, young actress has been remarked for her role in the series New Girl but also for her outfits on the red carpet. It is without surprise that the actress and Tommy Hilfiger announced their collaboration for a new collection of 16 dresses.

The creator declared “The dresses are inspired by the 60’s. There are many red, white, blue but in Zooey’s style with details and materials interesting”. The collaboration between the creator and the actress was made via a common friend. Zooey Deschanel said about this collection “I am a big fan of mode and I always look for some new ways to incorporate feminine vintage style to my wardrobe. Tommy and I share many inspirations.

The old school music, classic movies and the Hollywood icons. His advice during the process of design have brought a really twist to each outfit”. The collection entitled To Tommy, from Zooey will be available from April 14th in 300 Macy’s shops.

We all know the new tendency of the online sales is to multiple their collaborations and to create a collection. Today it is the website styleshop.com that presented its new collection realized by 10 young designers. It is a glamorous and sophisticated collection. The designers who participated to this project are: David Koma, Emilia Wickstead, Mario Schwab, Mary Katrantzou, Matthew Williamson, Nicholas Kirkwood, Osman, Preen by thornton Bregazzi, Roksanda Ilincic and Sophie Webster. Elie Saab Haute Couture Spring/Summer 2014

Elie Saab presented his collection spring/summer 2014, like each year the designer impressed with his dresses straight out of a fairy tale. This collection reflects really the spring and summer with flowers, fresh design, sober color even if some dresses were black, the design of the dresses are glamour and elegant. The perfect words to describe Saab’s collection.

Elie Saab is a great designer. His collection is always sensual and glamour. He perfectly knows how to create a dress that put in values the curves of a women, without being too much. This collection confirmed again that Elie Saab is one of the top designers haute couture.

Lupita Nyong’o: the new baby of Hollywood

Since few months people don’t stop to talk about the actress Lupita Nyong’o, whether for her beautiful performance in the movie “12 years a slave” or for a dresses on the red carpet. Lupita was born in Mexico but had passed her childhood in Kenya. She have started to work in the entertainment by being the production assistant for the movie The constant gardener, after that she was one of the actresses of the tv-serie “Shuga” – really famous in Africa and she wanted to try being behind the camera and was producer of the documentary “In my genes”.

Lupita was chosen to embody the role of Patsey in the movie “12 years a slave”, and this role impelled her to the top of Hollywood (She is nominated in the category of second role for the Oscar’s ceremony). She made a good performance and received many great compliments. The movie got big success and many nominations, we saw Lupita on all of the red carpets and events. She is also well know in the fashion industry as well, she has nothing to envy to the “big women” of Hollywood.

My favorite dress was the bleu one at the SAG Awards on Sunday and the red dress at the Golden Globes. She takes risks about the color and I love it. It matched perfectly with her skin and I like her short hair cut. I also remember black jumpsuit with her black pea shoes – simple, elegant and glamour.

Best or worst international photos magazines

I wanted to make a post with the most amazing photos took in 2013. It can be glamour, sexy, funny or crazy. Just to share with you the photos that we may not forget. Rihanna ! I don’t want what kind of message the photographer wanted to share, but personally I didn’t get it at all and it is far away to be something sexy, glamour or attractive. Less glamour with the star of Scandal…. What happened ? I love Kerry Washington, she was the best actress dressed in 2013 but the sunglasses upside down… Not good.

This one is one of my favorite. I love how Justin Timberlake plays the tightrope with disconcerting ease. Sexy ! Ok…. Someone has to explain me, what is going on ? What is that ? Sorry but George Clooney is classed on the worst magazine photo. 

In 2013, we saw them more often the Olsen’s twins in the magazines than in 2012. Black and white and totally simplicity, I like it.

Not sure that it is the most comfortable position for the actress of Homeland – Claire Danes, but I like her regard and Kate Perry is really cute with her big smile and this hat.

Kristen Stewart for Balenciaga’s new perfume

After being the muse of the perfume Florabotonica of Balenciaga in 2012, the star of Twilight – Kristen Stewart – was chosen to represent the new perfume “Rosabotanica”. For the new campaign, it is again black and white shot, that remind us spring and bunch of colorful flowers. The flask keeps the same esthetic, same shape, black stripes and a luxurious garden full of colors. The fragrance has been described like “a beautiful flower, but also a beautifully dangerous flower”. The heroine of the vampire movie matches perfectly with the message that Balenciaga wants to send. The launch is due in early 2014, but  no specific date has been published.
