When Christian Louboutin mixes art and shoes

Christian Louboutin revealed his lookbook for the seasons autumn winter 2013. The designer of the red sole was inspired by the paintings of the famous painter  Flamand Pierre Paul Rubens.




Art is present in many designer this season after the Chanel’s show for the spring summer 2014, the latest Lady Dior campaign, it was the turn of Christian Louboutin to travel through the art.
It is the photographer Peter Lippmann whom immortalized the scenes. The shoes are all sublimes in the somber décor and old.

  2. Wow! These are wonderful! I have always seen his work as art, very expensive art that a 14 year old can’t afford but art nonetheless. So appropriate to use the baroque style of art to highlight the shoes. It’s like they are a part of that era. Masterful! Thanks for visiting and liking my blog.
